The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of personalities, and a gripping narrative showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Revealing details for the third episode of the new season follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the first table of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to undertake their independent quest, separate from the additional parties.

This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (played by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

With 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for players who are drawn to a classically intense battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might appear out of place, but the developments of episode 3 demonstrate why these five characters are ideally matched for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the party understands precisely where to go next after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose demise initiated the campaign’s events—exploited The Crow Keepers for his own means, entering Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting Thimble, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.

Casimir then settled his obligations and fled to a secure base in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their reputation as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the team enter places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter vowed a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are hunted by the authorities that govern the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The healer turned against House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This results in them few options but to journey toward Timmony in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s follow-up content, we discover that the warrior group will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to round up the Questers and Strategists tables.

Viewers can anticipate learning which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
